Jack Crabtree: landscapes and still lifes
Jack Crabtree was born in Rochdale in 1938. He was Professor of Fine Art at the University of Ulster from 1983 to 1986, has won numerous awards and fellowships and has work in national collections. In the 70s he was commissioned by the National Coal Board to record the everyday lives of workers in the coal mines of south Wales and by the German Federal Government to depict the workers at steel works in the Ruhr Valley.
This exhibition is a collection of still lifes and landscapes from Wales and Ireland.
Show runs from 15th May to 5th June
